NATURE FIELD TRIP REPORT IN TORAJA REGENCY

Assalamua'laikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
Hello welcome back to again, and now I will story about my Nature Field Trip in Toraja Regency.

Lets Start it…..

DAY 1



For the first day we are gathered in Makassar Tourism Polytechnic for absension and loading the baggage lead by tour leader. 




Next we are heading to Kupa Beach restaurant in Barru regency for lunch. 





After lunch going to Bambapuang in Enrekang Regency for coffee break. 




And than we are arrive in Toraja Regency.


And than heading to Indra Hotel in Toraja Regency for check in.




And prepare for dinner in Ayam Penyet Restaurant in Toraja and get a little instruction from advisor and tour leader. 



After that we are going back to Indra Hotel for take a rest.

DAY 2
On the second day we are breakfast in Indra Hotel restaurant and than prepare for doing soft tracking.
After heaving breakfast at the hotel we are drive to Timenbayo exploring the nature of Toraja, 





and heaving local food at Batutumonga Mentirotiku Restourant.





After having lunch drive for Lempo to start the second tracking and than in tracking we get more than we now and more than we saw like about Tedong Bonga, Tare Tree,  Tongkonan House and Beautiful View In Toraja Regency. 





After enjoy the soft tracking we are going to visit Lombok Natural Grave in Toraja who has there is no hand made of people like Lemo and Londa.






After that we are drive to silk weaving centre at Todi in there we get knowledge about weaving specially from the people of Toraja Regency. 



And than we are back to hotel, and than directly go to the Aras Restourant this is one of famous restourant in Toraja Regency, in there we get dinner, sing a song and have fun together and the next we are back to hotel and get a little evaluation from the advisor and tour leader and back to individual rooms for over night.



DAY 3

In the morning we are breakfast in Indra Hotel Restaurant and prepare for back to Makassar Tourism Polytechnic but before that we are going to Kaa Coffee for know the history from Toraja Coffee.


And the next we are heading to Lakipadada and take a banner picture there.


And than continue the trip to Bambapuang in Enrekang Regency for coffee break.

And heading to Teras Empang Restourant For Lunch.

After heaving coffee break in Bambapuang we are heading to Traditional house in Pangkep Regency for know the charasteristic from the buginess house.





And late in the afternoon we are arrive in Makassar Tourism Polytechnic and Off the tour program.

MARINE FIELD TRIP REPORT IN DUTUNGAN ISLAND AND PAPUTO BEACH

Friday, October 4, 2019
First Day, gathering at orange building on Makassar Tourism Polytechnic at 06.00 am, and then we heading to Tanjung Indah dock in Barru Regency. After that we going to Dutungan Island by boat. Arrive at Dutungan Island in Barru Regency we will welcome and give an intruction about diving equipment by dive instructor. After the intruction, we will take you to diving and enjoy the beautiful underwater scenery and calm water of Dutungan Island. After diving, all the participant prepare for lunch at island. After lunch, all participant continues diving. 

"DUTUNGAN ISLAND"
Dutungan Barru Island Tourism - Dutungan Island is an island located in Barru Regency, and actually Dutungan Island is included on the border between Barru Regency and Parepare City.  Dutungan Island is a small island with beautiful white sand.  If you want to feel the pleasure of a relaxed white sand island in Barru Regency, maybe coming to Dutungan Island is the answer.  The exact location of Dutungan Island is in Palanro, Mallusetasi District, Barru Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. When you go to Dutungan Island, you might hear from the local people about this island, they say that Dutungan Island is a very haunted and loud island, because it is said that the island is inhabited by many spirits.  However, if your intention comes there purely for travel and good intentions, Insha Allah will be safe and there is no disturbance.

To be able to enjoy the beauty of white sand from Dutungan Island, you have to travel here, and if you are from Makassar you need approximately 4.5 hours, with a distance of about 130 km, and if you are from the city of Barru you will need less time  more than 1.5 hours, and if you depart from the city of Parepare you may need about 30 minutes to reach Tanjung Indah, where Tanjung Indah is a pier that will take us to the island of Dutungan.

This is the first time in my life I tried diving, at first it was very stressful and I was hesitant to go down to the bottom of the sea. but I was accompanied by a professional diver. Under the sea I saw coral reefs and various kinds of fish. there are also lots of sea urchins.



After all the activities well done at Dutungan Island, heading to Hotel Delima Sari in Parepare City. Arrive at Hotel Delima Sari in Parepare City, we will check in at the Receptionist and sharing participant roomlist.

After that, all the participant prepare for Dinner at Local restaurant “Ayam Penyet Ria” in Parepare City near the hotel.


After dinner, the Advisor will provide an information to all participant and continue the entertaintment. After entertainment, overnight at the Hotel.




Saturday, 5 October 2019

At 06.00 a.m in the morning all the participant gather for morning excercise and and visit the statue of Cinta Sejati Habibie-Ainun. 


After breakfast, we will check out from Hotel Delima sari in Parepare City.


After that, we heading to Paputo Beach. Arrive at Paputo Beach in Parepare City, all the participant starting the observation.Pare Pare is one of the cities in South Sulawesi with extraordinary natural potential.

Just imagining it is fun right?  Let's look in more detail about other features of Paputo Beach.to access Paputo actually stands for Pantai Pasir Putih Tonrangeng.  The name is more popular in the ears of the surrounding community, maybe because it is easier to remember and pronounce.You can find this beautiful destination in Lumpu Village, West Bacukiki District, Pare Pare.  The location is not far from the border of Barru Regency. Enjoy the Beauty of Relaxing Sand in the Gazebo as the name implies, a beautiful stretch of white sand is Paputo's main attraction.  Moreover, indeed there is rarely a beach with such a neat advantage in Parepare.  In addition, the surrounding air is also cool, blended nicely with beautiful waves that spoil the eye.  Everything you can enjoy while relaxing in a row of colorful gazebos like the above.This destination provides many places to just sit back and enjoy various foods and drinks.

Paputo also has many interesting photo spots.  One of my favorite is the swing on the beach. 

After observation, we heading to Teras Empang restaurant in Parepare City for lunch.



All the participant prepare for lunch and take a pray (Dzuhur). After lunch, directly back Makassar Tourism Polytechnic.
